Our Optometrist
Dr. Chris Walls, O.D.
Dr. Christopher Walls received his Doctorate degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1997. In that same year he began his practice in his hometown of Batesville where he remained there until 2003. Dr. Walls then opened a practice in Grenada where he provided the community with eyecare. In 2023, Dr. Walls expanded his practice by opening our location in Batesville. In his spare time Dr. Walls enjoys farming, cutting horses, civil war reenacting, and sporting events.
Our Staff
Christina Walls
Christina has been married to Dr. Walls for 23 years. Together they have two sons, Nate & Caleb. Christina serves as the optician in our Batesville clinic. She enjoys helping patients find the perfect eyeglass frame. In her spare time Christina enjoys spending time with her family, reading, working out, and traveling.
Alyssa Adams-Smith
Alyssa joined the 2020 Eyecare family July 2023. She serves as the front desk receptionist and billing specialist. Alyssa has one daughter, Sadie Beth, whom is her world. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family & friends, and cooking.
Karon Tutor
Karon joined the 2020 Eyecare family in 2021.
Nathan Walls
Nate is the oldest son of Dr. Walls and Christina. He graduated South Panola High School in 2020 with honors. Nate is currently attending Ole Miss and will graduate with a degree in multi-disciplinary studies with minors in chemistry, biology, and history in May 2024. Nate has been an optometry assistant alongside his dad since the age of 17. He will be attending Southern College of Optometry beginning September 2024 to pursue a doctorate degree. Nate enjoys hunting, attending civil war reenactments with his dad, spending time with his friends, and traveling.
Caleb Walls
Caleb is the youngest son of Dr. Walls and Christina. He is attending North Delta Schools. Caleb is an honors student and also plays football and baseball. He plans to attend Ole Miss after graduating and then continuing his education in optometry. Caleb enjoys playing golf, riding horses, spending time with his friends, and watching the Ole Miss Rebels.
Alexandra Faucett
Alex joined the 2020 Eyecare family in May of 2023. Originally from Kiln, MS, Alex is currently attending Ole Miss where she is majoring in biology with a psychology minor on a pre-PA track. Alex enjoys being in the company of her friends and going to the gym to stay active.
